Quran memorization associations honor King Salman’s decades-long support
ISLAMABAD, May 13 (APP):His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, received a delegation that honored Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in recognition of his more than 60 years of support for Holy Quran memorization associations in Saudi Arabia.
According to SPA, HRH the Crown Prince received commemorative gifts on behalf of King Salman presented by the delegation during the honoring ceremony.
The tribute recognized King Salman’s longstanding efforts in supporting Quran memorization, teaching, interpretation and Quranic sciences, as well as the distribution of translations of the meanings of the Holy Quran worldwide.
HRH the Crown Prince thanked nonprofit Quran memorization associations in the Kingdom for their initiatives in serving the Holy Quran and contributing to the development of the nonprofit sector.
He praised their continued efforts and said they support the Saudi leadership’s mission to strengthen the Kingdom’s role in serving Islam and Muslims around the world.
