ISLAMABAD, Aug 11 (APP): On the occasion of ‘Soyum’ and to pay homage to the Shuhadas of recent horrific terrorist attack in Quetta, the Pakistan High Commission London held Quran Khawani in the Chancery Hall on Wednesday.
Syed Ibne Abbas, Pakistan High Commissioner to U.K and the officials of the Mission participated in the Quran Khawani and prayed for the departed souls, a message received here from London on Thursday said.
The participants expressed solidarity with the families of the innocent victims and injured of the devastating tragedy.
At the end, prayers were also offered for peace, progress and the security of Pakistan.
Speaking on the occasion, the High Commissioner condemned the heinous act of terrorism in Quetta and reiterated Pakistan’s resolve to fight the menace of terrorism and extremism till its complete elimination from the country.
