Quality education being provided in govt institutions: Rana Mashood

SARGODHA, Nov 7 (APP): Provincial Minister Rana Mashood Ahmed
has said that Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif has given the
vision of Knowledge Park for the promotion of education in the
province.
He said that as almost 27 percent of budget was allocated for
education sector which would be utilized for missing facilities
in educational institutes.
Addressing the participants of a prize distribution ceremony
here at a private college, he said that almost 12.25 million children
were getting education from almost 54,000 public sector schools which
was the biggest education model in all over the world due to solid
steps by the government for better educational infrastructure.
He said that billions of rupees were allocated for merit and
needy scholarships for students while the examination system had
been made better after establishing of Punjab Education Commission.
Mashood said that extra ordinary benefits were also announced
including endowment fund, visit of foreign universities for better
career growth of young generation as they were the future of the
country, he added.He urged the students to struggle hard as the coming era was
very competitive.Administrator TMA Farooq Rasheed Sandhu presented an honorary
shield on the occasion to the minister while among the other participants were SE FESCO Aamil Siddiqui, parents, teachers and a large number of students.
