Federal Minister for the Board of Investment (BOI) Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh on Wednesday called for political unity and collective efforts to address national issues in the larger interest of the country’s prosperity and progress.

ISLAMABAD, Aug 19 (APP): Federal Minister for the Board of Investment (BOI) Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh on Wednesday called for political unity and collective efforts to address national issues in the larger interest of the country’s prosperity and progress.
Talking to the media outside Parliament House, he stressed that all political parties must reach a consensus on a Charter of Economy and a Charter of Democracy to help move the country forward.
He also highlighted the negative impact of political differences on the country’s development, emphasizing the need for greater cooperation and consensus among politicians to ensure sustainable national progress.
Responding to a question about the PTI protest, Sheikh said that peaceful protest is the right of every citizen. However, he added that no one should be allowed to violate the law or disrupt law and order under the guise of a peaceful protest.
