ISLAMABAD, Aug 20 (APP): Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) MNA Talal Chaudhry Saturday alleged that Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr Tahirul Qadri was not loyal to Pakistan as he had not given up his Canadian citizenship.
Talking to a private television channel, Talal Chaudhry said
Tahirul Qadri being a Canadian citizen should not lecture others on patriotism. He was levelling baseless allegations against the government, he added.
Talal said Qadri launched the movement for blood money
just to grab more money from the people.
To a question, he said terrorism was started in the country
during the regime of former president Pervez Musharraf when Tahirul Qadri was Member of the National Assembly.
The terror incidents had now declined to a great extent and
the world also acknowledged Pakistan’s efforts to curb terrorism, he added.
