Punjab govt to give people relief under its 100 days plan: Aleem

LAHORE, Sep 07 (APP):The Punjab government would extend visible relief to masses under its 100 days plan, as per vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan, the change would be seen and every sector would have to perform actively in the minimum possible time.
This was stated by Senior Provincial Minister Abdul Aleem Khan while presiding over review meetings of different departments, held at 90 Shara-e-Quaid-e-Azam.
Abdul Aleem Khan held marathon sessions of Health, Education, Labour, Home, Agriculture, Tourism and other departments and asked them to come up with solid proposals within two weeks so that short
and long-term planning could be evolved accordingly.
He said that experts’ team, constituted by the prime minister, would also be coordinating and providing its consultancy for improving performance.
The senior minister said that the incumbent government has the aim of introducing revolutionary steps for educational institutions, hospitals, civic institutions and immediate steps would be taken to provide jobs, houses, law and order improvement and better environment.
He said that the departments needing more budget would be provided extra funds, but performance would also be gauged accordingly.
He said that all departments would ensure austerity and no funds would be allowed to be wasted.
Reviewing different projects, the senior minister directed that in health sector, provision of 100 per cent free medicines in emergency departments and issuance of health cards in all districts of Punjab
would be immediate steps by the incumbent government.
Similarly, Education Department should take immediate steps for choosing 100 schools to be made role model.
He also directed Labour, Agriculture and Tourism Departments to take steps for change in their performance so that people may realise the difference.
Abdul Aleem Khan said that all public sectors organisations should make their working online and computerised so that access of the people to the government data may be ensured and they can get
remedy at home.
Senior Minister told that the Punjab government is in the process of first 100 days’ planning, which would clear our direction.
He said Prime Minister Imran Khan would fulfil each and every promise made with the public and his team members are also working day and night to make it a success.
“No hurdle can stop us from acting on the vision of our prime minister and providing maximum facilities to masses,” Abdul Aleem Khan concluded.
