PUC, JEP express solidarity with Kashmiris

LAHORE, July 15 (APP): Jamiat Ehlehadith Pakistan (JEP) and Pakistan Ulema Council (PUC) observed Friday as protest day across the provincial capital against atrocities of Indian forces on Kashmiri people.

After Juma prayer, JEP staged a protest demonstration at Lawrence Road which was attended by a large number of people from various walks of life. JEP Chief Allama Ibtisam Elahi Zaheer addressing the participants strongly condemned the use of force against innocent people of Kashmir by the Indian Army and termed it as inhuman act by the so called democratic government of India.

The JEP chief urged the Pakistan government, OIC and international community to utilize their influence to resolve the Kashmir issue immediately according to the UN resolutions.

He also expressed solidarity with the Saudi Arabia government and people and vowed to give every sacrifice for the defence of Harmain e Sharifaen. He also condemned the terrorists attacks in Saudi Arabia by enemies of Islam.

Meanwhile, PUC also organized rallies and protests against
the Indian aggression across the city.

Addressing a big rally, PUC Chairman Allama Tahir Ashrafi strongly condemned the Indian army for genocide of the Kashmir masses. He expressed complete solidarity with the Kashmiri people against Indian aggression.

He urged the international community to play its due role in stopping gross human rights violations at the hands of Indian occupation forces.
