ISLAMABAD, Dec 18 (APP): Minister of State for Federal Education and Professional Training Muhammad Baligh Ur Rehman on Friday said enrolment of students in public sector schools this year had increased by 5 per cent than that in last year.
Pakistan, he said, was not the only country where education ministry was devolved and cited the example of Germany in that regard. He, however, said the present government should be criticized for the decision taken by the previous regime.
He was speaking at the national launch of “Aser survey report 2015” here.
He congratulated the team of Aser and Baila Raza for launching such a useful report. The shortcomings mentioned in the report should be taken notice of.
He also spoke about the NEAS report 2015, IPEMC, curriculum and Revised National Education Policy.
The launch was attended by provincial education ministers, donors, and representatives of partner agencies.
