PU Engineer honoured

LAHORE,Oct 26 (APP): Punjab University Department of
Electrical Engineering Engr. Osama Majeed Butt has presented
his research article titled “An economical approach to run a
rail road locomotive train by using hybrid energy system” in
the prestigious conference of Material Science & Technology
2015 at Columbus,Ohio USA.
According to PU sources,the paper was highly appreciated in the
conference and awarded as best paper related to “Energy”. Engr. Osama said
that the idea was regarding conservation of energy and could be useful
for developing countries.
Dean Faculty of Engineering and Technology Prof Dr Taqi
Zahid Butt also presented a research article on “Composite
Materials” in the same conference.
