MULTAN, June 22, ( APP)::PTI Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood
Qureshi on Friday said the party’s review board constituted
by Imran Khan would decide tickets for general election on
merit and he was not a hurdle at all in awarding tickets.
Speaking at a press conference at his residence here on
Friday, Shah Mehmood stated that he was ready to every
type of sacrifice for tickets issue.
The Pakistan Trhreek-I-Insaf (PTI) vice chairman
disclosed that former federal minister Sikandar Bosan was
aspirant for the party ticket from NA-154, adding that when
he joined the PTI in past, we welcomed him. He, however,
explained that if Bosan wanted to leave the PTI, it would purely
his own decision.
Decisions of awarding ticket for elections was not an easy
job, he said and added that none other than PTI chairman Imran
Khan had to decide about party tickets and he would see eye
to eye with Mr Khan in this connection.
Shah Mehmood categorically said that he had no differences
with Jehangir Tareen, adding that the latter was out of politics
and he saw no reason to have differences with him.
He said having assets was not a crime rather making
asserts illegally was a crime, adding that purchasing flats
in London and building castle in Dubai without money trail
were crimes.
Brushing aside allegations of awarding party tickets
through nepotism, Qursehi said that he always preferred
ideology over any relation for awarding tickets.
