ISLAMABAD, Nov 6 (APP): Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)
candidate for the slot of Speaker National Assembly Shafqat Mahmood
Friday said, the PTI was real opposition party in the Parliament and
was fighting for the right of masses.
Talking to mediapersons outside the Parliament House, he said,
“PTI will contest election for all seats whether the election
of Speaker or Local Government polls.”
Shafqat Mahmood said PTI Parliamentary committee in its
meeting decided to contest election for the slot of Speaker and
nominated his name. “We will not leave an open field for others,”
he added.Shafqat Mahmood said PTI would seek support of other political
parties in the House for vote.
