ISLAMABAD, Oct 28 (APP):Special Advisor to the Prime Minister on Political Affairs Naeemul Haq Sunday said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government had initiated number of projects including austerity measures, ten billions trees, clean & green drive and housing scheme in the country during first 100 days.
Talking to PTV, he said previous governments were never done such work in 6 months.
He said in the past, the rulers had misused the law for their personal interests but now the rule of law was prevailing in the country.
He alleged that the last governments of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) not only destroyed the national economy but also damaged the institutions.
He said the previous governments did billion of rupees corruption during their tenures and they did nothing for the welfare of masses.
He said the government was taking some concrete steps for strengthen the national economy, adding that Saudi Arabia would provide financial aid which would be helpful to improve national economy and negotiations were underway with other friendly countries in that regard.
Replying to a question, he rejected the rumors regarding imposing the Governor Raj in Sindh but people of the province were badly disappointed from Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) government at there.
International as well as domestic investors were taking keen interest to invest in the country due to prudent policies of the incumbent government, he added. .
To another query, he said prime Minister Imran Khan wanted to resolve all issues with dialogue including Kashmir and international diplomatic pressure should have to increase for resolving the issue.
He said the prime minister was a determined person and he would steer the country out of different challenges with his vise wisdom, adding Imran Khan was the most popular political leader in the country.
The Advisor said that accountability would be held across the board and without any discrimination and those elements who had committed criminal acts would have to face accountability.
Naeem ul Haq said that Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI), government was committed to wipe out menace of corruption from all institutions, adding that ‘zero tolerance’ policy would be adopted to achieve the objectives in that regard.
He said all out efforts would be made to put the country on path of speedy progress and steps had been taken to improve the living standard of the people.
