RAWALPINDI, Mar 16 (APP):Federal Minister for Petroleum Ghulam Sarwar Khan said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government would fulfill all promises made with the masses and would come up to their expectations.
Addressing at Public Secretariat NA 59, he said that committees have been constituted to resolve the problems and it is top priority of me and my government.
He said that under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan now, the country is on right direction and would bring progress and prosperity.
Khan wants to fight corruption, poverty, unemployment, reform government spending and improve the lives of the poor.
He said effective mechanism is being introduced in the country and corrupt elements would be held accountable.
Giving the details of the development projects, he said that Ring Road project soon to be started.
The Minister ensured the early establishment of Potar and Gandhara Universities to facilitate the masses. Two Colleges would be constructed in PP 10 in the jurisdiction of Rawat and Chuntra. He informed that a hospital would be built at Jorian Morr and two basic health units would also be upgraded. Two rescue centers 1122 would be established.
The Minister announced to donate two ambulances to facilitate the people of the area.
He also ensured that overbilled gas consumers would be reimbursed.
Sarwar said that three committees had been formed to probe the inflated gas bills after the government found some technical faults in the slabs under which the commodity price was determined.
“We admit that there were some technical faults in finalizing the gas slabs due to pressure factor that caused inflated bills. Sarwar said that the gas companies had refunded around Rs50 million to consumers on account of excessive billing, while approximately Rs2.5 billion had yet to be paid.
