ISLAMABAD, Oct 12 (APP): A delegation of Pakistan Tehreek-i- Insaf (PTI) under the leadership of provincial president, Junaid Akbar, met with Federal Minister and President Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Engineer Amir Muqam to discuss the appointment of the province’s new Chief Minister (CM).
The members of delegation who visited the minister at his residence included PTI parliamentary members from both the provincial and national assemblies, said a press release on Sunday.
The members urged the Amir Muqam to extend his support in electing the new CM unopposed.
In response, Engineer Amir Muqam expressed gratitude for the delegation’s visit, assuring the PTI leaders that a decision would be made after thorough consultation with the joint opposition and all relevant stakeholders.
