ISLAMABAD, Sep 04 (APP):Federal Minister for Railways Shiekh Rashid Tuesday hoped that Pakistan
Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) candidate Dr. Arif Alvi would be the winner of today’s
Presidential election.
Talking to media persons outside Parliament House, he said that the Presidential
election was underway in last phase, adding that Dr. Arif Alvi was the best choice and
graceful personality.
Replying a question, he said that Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) both were
opposition parties for us. He also appreciated role of media in the democratic
process.
He said that JUI-F Chief Mualana Fazal Rehman had the right to contest the election.
Replying another question, he said that Pakistan Railway performance would be improved in coming days.
