ISLAMABAD, Jan 21 (APP):The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), in collaboration with Huawei Pakistan, has successfully concluded a capacity-building training programme on 5G and Fixed Networks at PTA Headquarters, here on Wednesday.
The sessions focused on emerging telecommunications technologies and practical regulatory insights, including 5G backhaul and transport, fixed broadband technologies, evolution of 5G Radio Access Networks, core network digitalisation, and digital service capabilities, said a press release.
Speaking on the occasion, Hafeez Ur Rehman, Chairman PTA, appreciated the collaboration in strengthening institutional capacity and modernising regulatory practices. He highlighted that such initiatives help prepare the telecom sector to effectively address next-generation technological and regulatory challenges.
PTA reaffirmed its commitment to continuous professional development through constructive engagement with industry partners, in support of Pakistan’s digital transformation and a resilient regulatory ecosystem.
