PTA advocates Digital Inclusion for Persons with special needs in bilateral meeting with Path Finder

ISLAMABAD, Jun 23 (APP): Chairman Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), Major General (R) Hafeez Ur Rehman held a bilateral meeting with the Chief Executive Officer of Path Finder, a leading organization dedicated to the empowerment of persons with special needs.
The meeting held at Oslo, Norway, focused on the critical challenges and opportunities related to digital inclusion, accessibility, and the use of ICT for empowering differently-abled individuals across Pakistan, said a news release.
Chairman PTA reiterated the Authority’s commitment to promoting inclusive digital policies that ensure equitable access to communication services for all segments of society. Emphasizing the transformative role of technology, he highlighted the need for collaborative initiatives that remove digital barriers and foster accessibility standards across platforms and services.
PTA remains dedicated to advancing inclusive frameworks aligned with its vision of a digitally connected and accessible Pakistan for all.
