Provision of basic facilities to tribal districts top priority of PTI govt: Governor

ISLAMABAD, Oct 28 (APP):Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Shah Farman has said provision of better health, agriculture and education facilities to people of tribal districts, formally known as Federal Administrated Tribal Area (FATA), was the top priority of the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) government.
Tribal heads would also be part of the PTI government’s decisions, he said talking to a private news channel.
He said we would discuss all the issues with the Tribal heads and promote the Jirga system there.
National Accountability Bureau (NAB) was working independently in the country and accountability would be held across the board without any discrimination, he said.
To a question, he said all possible measure would be taken to uplift the universities as there were so many issues there.
The PTI government had opened the governor houses for masses and now they could visit any governor house easily.
He said criticism was the right of the opposition and difference of opinion was the beauty of the democratic system but it should be within the constitutional parameters.
He said people of the province had faced worst situation due to terrorism, however peace had been restored in the province due to prudent policies of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) led government and sacrifices of security forces.
