He appreciated UNICEF and teams from all four provinces, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan for actively contributing to the policy framework and praised their collective efforts in shaping a unified youth vision.

The Digital Youth Hub, he noted, has emerged as a transparent, merit-based platform connecting youth with education, skill development, and entrepreneurship opportunities and strengthening trust between the government and the next generation.
Highlighting inter-provincial coordination, he said the federal government has created a precedent by directly involving provincial departments in policy planning to ensure every region’s aspirations are represented in the national youth framework.
He also announced the government’s work on a National Artificial Intelligence (AI) Policy for Youth and mentioned that the Prime Minister’s Semiconductor Policy will prepare Pakistan’s youth to thrive in global technology and innovation sectors.
Rana Mashhood reaffirmed that youth development remains central to Pakistan’s growth strategy, covering education, sports, innovation, and digital transformation.
Referring to the Prime Minister’s Youth Sports Talent Hunt Programme, he stated that over 300,000 young athletes have participated nationwide, showcasing the country’s vast potential in sports.
He further shared that Pakistan’s first E-Sports Policy and E-Pakistan Sports Federation are being launched to bring nearly 60 million young Pakistanis into the global digital gaming arena.
Concluding, Rana Mashhood said the government’s vision under Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is to ensure every young Pakistani has access to modern facilities, equal opportunities, and the technological skills needed to lead the nation toward an innovative and empowered future.
