HYDERABAD, July 15 (APP): The people of Hyderabad Friday expressed solidarity with the people of Indian held Kashmir and observed protest day by taking part in the protest demonstrations under banners of different political parties.

On the appeal of Ameer Jamat Islami Pakistan Senator Siraj-ul-Haq, the local leaders and workers of the jamaat of Hyderabad chapter staged a big protest demonstration against the atrocities of the Indian troops upon the people of occupied Kashmir.

They also offered “Gaibana Namaz-e-Janaza” of Burhan Muzaffar Wani and other martyred who lost their lives as a result of torture and firing of Indian troops.

The speakers including Abdul Waheed Qureshi, Muhammad Azeem Baloch, Dr. Saifur Rehman, Shaikh Shoukat Ali, Mushtaq Ahmed Khan and Zaheeruddin Shaikh strongly condemned the brutal action of Indian troops and said that sacrifices of the people of Occupied Kashmir will culminate bearing fruitful results.

They said that the people of occupied Kashmir wanted their affiliation with Pakistan and they are hoisting Pakistani flag at their residences. The India has lost battle in Kashmir and Kashmiris are marching towards liberation, they added.

The leaders and workers of Jamiat Ulmai Islam (F) Hyderabad also taken out a rally to expressed solidarity with the people of occupied Kashmir.

The local leaders Moulana Taj Muhammad Nahiyoun, Khalid Hussain Dhamra and Azam Jahangiri while addressing the participants of the rally said that better relations with India could not be made possible until the liberation of held Kashmir.

They underlined the need of initiating practical measures for the support of the Kashmiris so that their struggle could gain success at the earliest.

The leaders and workers of Pakistan Peoples Party Hyderabad District and its affiliated organizations also taken out a rally and expressed solidarity with the people of occupied Kashmir.

Addressing the participants, Ex-Senator Aajiz Dhamra, Hina Dastagir, Noorunisa Abro, Irfan Gul Maagsi, Fayyaz Shah, Saghir Qureshi, Pasha Qazi, Rajab Khaskheli and Ahsan Abro strongly criticised the atrocities being committed by the Indian troops upon the people of Held Kashmir and said that PPP always supported the cause of their brothers who are struggling for liberation against India.

They also urged the government to adopt strict policy on
Kashmir issue and highlight the same at the international forums so that the Kashmiris could get their rights.
