Protest day observed against Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir
‘Accession to Pakistan Day’ marked across country

KARACHI, July 15 (APP): Various political and religious
organizations observed a protest day in different parts of Karachi on Friday against the Indian forces’ atrocities on innocent people in held Kashmir.

Protest demonstrations were held after the Friday prayers which were largely attended by the people who expressed solidarity with the Kashmiri brothers.

The participants displayed banners and placards and chanted
slogans against the Indian atrocities in the Indian held Kashmir.

Amir of Jamat-i-Islami Karachi, Naeem ur Rehman, addressed a protest demonstration outside Memon Masjid Kharadar.

He stated that India cannot crush the Kashmiris’ freedom
struggle.

JI Karachi Amir further stated that entire Pakistani nation is
with their Kashmiri brothers in their struggle for the right of self determination in accordance with the resolutions of the United Nations.

The Jamat-i-Islami had organized protest demonstrations at 38 different places in Karachi in support of the Kashmiri brothers’ struggle.

Jamait Ulema Pakistan staged a protest demonstration outside the Karachi Press Club (KPC) in support of the Kashmiris struggle for their right of self determination.

The Provincial Naib Amir Qari Muhammad Usman led the
demonstration.

He demanded that the Kashmiris be accorded right of self
determination in accordance with the UN resolutions.

Qari Usman also called upon Muslim Ummah to adopt a unified stand in support of the Kashmiri brothers.

Jamat-i-Ahle Sunnat wa Jamat Maulana Aurangzeb Farooqui led a demonstration at Nagan Chowrangi.

Pakistan Peoples Party, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz and Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf also observed protest day against the Indian atrocities on the innocent people in held Kashmir.

It was demanded that the outstanding Kashmir dispute be resolved in accordance with the aspirations of the Kashmiris and in accordance with the United Nations’ resolutions.
