ISLAMABAD, Jun 11 (APP): Prince Charles of the United Kingdom
Saturday visited Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif in London and
inquired after him as the latter underwent a cardiac surgery last
week.

The Prince congratulated the prime minister on his successful heart surgery, according to a PM House statement.

The Prince also conveyed good wishes of British Queen Elizabeth II for the prime minister.

Charles said he wanted to visit personally and see his friend. Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the prime minister’s daughter said on Twitter that Prince Charles also brought honey for the Prime Minister from the gardens of Clarence House, saying it would help him recover fast as Pakistan needed him.

Prime Minister Sharif thanked Prince Charles for the honey and told him that Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said honey had healing properties.
