ISLAMABAD, June 2 (APP): Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has sent  flowers for Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and wished him a speedy recovery, Foreign Office said on Thursday.

“All good wishes to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for his speedy  recovery,” Modi said in a message sent along with the flowers.

Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif underwent a cardiac surgery on  Tuesday and his doctors have termed it a success.

Prime Minister Modi had earlier sent a message of best wishes to Prime  Minister Nawaz Sharif before his heart surgery in London on Monday.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif telephoned Prime Minister Narendra Modi  and expressed his gratitude for wishing him a speedy recovery.

A number of world leaders had sent messages to the Prime Minister  Sharif for health and a quick recovery.
