Prime Minister Imran Khan pays his respect at Roza-e-Rasool (SAW); breaks fast, offers nawafilMADINA MUNAWARA, May 08 (APP): Prime Minister Imran Khan Saturday paid his respects at Roza-e-Rasool (Peace be Upon Him).

The prime minister along with his delegation broke fast (Iftar), offered Namaz-e-Maghrib, nawafil and prayed at the Masjid e Nabvi (SAW).

Earlier, upon his arrival in the Holy City, the prime minister was received by Governor of Madina Munawara Prince Faisal bin Salman.

Special Assistant to the PM on Political Communication Dr Shahbaz Gill and SAPM on Interfaith Harmony Maulana Tahir Ashrafi were also present.

As a rare respect, The door of Sacred Prophetic Chamber, also known as Al Hujratu n-nabawīyatu l-sharīfa, was opened for the prime minister. The Sacred Chamber was once the house (Hujra) of Hazrat Aisha (R.A.).

On Sunday, the prime minister departed Madina Munawara for Makkah to perform Umrah, in third leg of his three-day visit to Saudi Arabia.

He will also meet Imam-e-Ka’aba as well as head of the Muslim World League and Secretary General of Organization of Islamic Cooperation.

Later, the prime minister will address the members of the Pakistani community in Jeddah at an event regarding the Roshan Digital Account.
