ISLAMABAD, Sep 23 (APP):President Asif Ali Zardari on Wednesday lauded the security forces for successful operations against terrorists affiliated with Fitna al-Khawarij and Fitna al-Hindustan in Quetta and Kech districts of Balochistan.
The president said the killing of terrorists operating under Indian patronage reflected the professional capabilities of the security forces, a Presidency’s news release said.
President Zardari also paid tribute to Subedar Muhammad Jameel, who was martyred while defending the country. He said the sacrifice of Subedar Muhammad Jameel was a symbol of the security forces’ unwavering commitment to maintaining peace and protecting the country.
The president expressed his condolences to the family of the martyred Subedar, who belonged to Taunsa Sharif, and prayed for strength for the bereaved family.
