President Zardari expresses grief over loss of lives in rain, flood-hit areas

ISLAMABAD, Jul 22 (APP):President Asif Ali Zardari on Tuesday expressed sorrow and grief over the loss of precious lives due to heavy rains and flash floods in various parts of the country.

In a statement issued by the Aiwan-e-Sadr, the president extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for the elevation of the ranks of those who lost their lives in the calamity.

President Zardari directed the relevant authorities to expedite relief and rescue operations in the affected regions. He emphasized the need to provide all possible assistance and rehabilitation support to the victims to help them recover from the disaster.
