ISLAMABAD, Jul 28 (APP):President Asif Ali Zardari on Tuesday expressed grief and sorrow over the death of senior leader of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and former federal minister, Malik Mukhtar Ahmed Awan.
In his condolence message, the president paid tribute to the services rendered by the late leader to the party and the public. He described Malik Mukhtar Ahmed Awan as a sincere, dignified and loyal political worker whose contributions would always be remembered.
President Zardari prayed for the elevation of the departed soul’s ranks in the hereafter and sought forgiveness for him from the Almighty. He also prayed for patience and strength for the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.
