President Xi to chair the 18th SCO meeting in Qingdao

ISLAMABAD, Jun 8 (APP):Chinese President Xi Jinping will be chairing the 18th Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit scheduled for June 9-10 in Qingdao with the intention to carry forward the tradition of solidarity and coordination.
President Xi has been manifesting a strong sense of solidarity through his previous statements at the forum which ensures the growth of Shanghai spirit, reported China Daily.
Attending the 17th meeting of Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in Astana, Kazakhstan, on June 9, 2017, he insisted to transmit further this fine tradition of solidarity and coordination among the member states.
Chinese President attached immense importance to the need that all member states, old and new, should work in close coordination, deepen mutual trust and increase mutual support.
He asserted that all member states must demonstrate cooperation in their endeavor to build a community of shared future featuring equality, mutual support, solidarity and sharing of weal and woe.
