KARACHI, Dec 25 (APP): President Mamnoon Hussain Friday visited the Mazar (mausoleum) of the Founder of the Nation Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah marking his 139th birth anniversary.
Upon his arrival, the President was received by Sindh Governor Dr Ishartul Ebad Khan and Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah.
The President laid a wreath at the Mazar and also offered Fateha. He also recorded his impressions in the visitors’ book.
He said under the dynamic leadership of Quaid-i-Azam, the Muslims of the Sub-continent got a separate homeland and that his name would always be written in the annals of history with golden words.
Schoolchildren presented national songs on the occasion.
