President Dr Arif Alvi on Wednesday rejected the mercy appeal of a person convicted in murder and bank robbery case. The president rejected the appeal to mercy of Shameer, son of Ahmed Khan who was sentenced to death for killing a bank guard during the robbery. President Alvi took the decision under Article 45 of the Constitution.
