President meets PPP delegation from Gilgit-Baltistan

ISLAMABAD, Dec 16 (APP): A PPP delegation from Gilgit-Baltistan, led by former Chairman Senate Syed Nayyar Bokhari, Tuesday, called on President Asif Ali Zardari at Aiwan-e-Sadr.

The delegation briefed the President on political and developmental matters concerning Gilgit-Baltistan, President Secretariat Media Wing said in a press release.

The president emphasised the importance of dialogue, consensus and inclusive governance in addressing regional issues and strengthening democratic institutions.
