ISLAMABAD, Jun 14 (APP):President Dr Arif Alvi Sunday spoke high of a song composed by Turkish lyricist dedicated to Kashmir highlighting the oppression being faced by the people of Indian Occupied Kashmir.
The song “Kashmir is my name” was composed by Turgay Evren, Istanbul-based poet, English language lecturer and a composer and sung by World famous Della Miles. The song had been trending in social media with people appreciating the efforts of the producer and the Turkey for showing support to the Kashmir people.
“Kashmir is My Name is a beautiful song written by Turkish songwriter (Turgay Evren) and sung by Della Miles, was a project of (Aziz Babuscu) member of Turkish Parliament. Kashmir shall win freedom. Must watch & retweet,” the president wrote on his Twitter handle.
In response, Aziz Babuscu also thanked the president for sharing the song with the Pakistani people.
“As Turkish State and Nation, we will always be with Kashmiri people. I’d like to extend our love to you and Pakistan, we regard as our second home,” he commented.
