President grieves over loss of lives in boat tragedy

ISLAMABAD, Jan 16 (APP): President Asif Ali Zardari Thursday expressed grief over the loss of more than 40 Pakistanis in an accident of boat destined for Spain.

He expressed sympathy with the families of those who lost their precious lives in the boat tragedy.

He called for far-reaching and effective steps to stop human smuggling.

He prayed for the departed souls and for the grant of patience to the bereaved families.
