ISLAMABAD, Jun 2 (APP): President Mamnoon Hussain on Thursday called for taking steps for the welfare of people to ensure improvement in their living standard.
Talking to Governor Punjab Malik Muhammad Rafique Rajwana here at the Aiwan-e-Sadr, the President said people should be provided quality educational and healthcare services.
The Governor Punjab lauded the address of the President at the parliament’s joint sitting, and termed it comprehensive, encompassing all aspects and issues.
He appreciated that useful suggestions were given by President Mamnoon during his address pertaining to democracy and national progress.
Rajwana apprised President Mamnoon of the development activities being undertaken in the Punjab province.
