ISLAMABAD, Oct 10 (APP): President Dr Arif Alvi Sunday expressed his deep sorrow over the sad demise of Pakistan’s top nuclear scientist Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan.
The President in a message said he was “deeply saddened to learn about the passing of Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan.”
The President said he had known Dr Khan personally since 1982.
“He helped us develop nation-saving nuclear deterrence, and a grateful nation will never forget his services in this regard. May Allah bless him,” the President said in his message.
