ISLAMABAD, Oct 04 (APP):President Asif Ali Zardari, Sunday, paid tribute to the security forces for eliminating eight terrorists of Fitna al-Khwarij in an intelligence-based operation in Dera Ismail Khan.
The president commended the security personnel for recovering a large quantity of weapons and ammunition during the operation and for eliminating three key figures of Fitna al-Khwarij, President Secretariat Media Wing said in a press release.
The president reiterated that nefarious designs of terrorists, operating with foreign patronage and the support of local facilitators, would be foiled.
He said that operations against Fitna al-Khwarij should continue with full force under the Azm-e-Istehkam vision.
President Zardari said the national resolve to eradicate terrorism from the country remained unwavering.
He said the entire nation saluted the brave sons of the security forces for their sacrifices for the peace and security of the country.
