President commends Pak Navy for successful anti-narcotics operation in Arabian Sea
ISLAMABAD, Sep 26 (APP):President Asif Ali Zardari, Saturday, appreciated Pakistan Navy personnel for their successful anti-narcotics operation in the Arabian Sea by seizing more than 2,800 kgs narcotics.
The president commended the professionalism and vigilance of the officers and crew of Pakistan Navy ships PNS Hunain and PNS Yarmook, which jointly seized more than 2,800 kilograms of narcotics during an operation in the Arabian Sea, President Secretariat Media Wing said in a press release.
He also appreciated the Pakistan Navy’s commitment to preventing illegal activities in the country’s maritime jurisdiction and safeguarding maritime security.
The president said Pakistan Navy is playing a valuable role in protecting the country’s maritime boundaries and sea routes.
He further reaffirmed that Pakistan remains committed to promoting peace and security and curbing illegal activities.
