ISLAMABAD, March 12 (APP):President Dr Arif Alvi Tuesday said universities should link higher education with the requirements of industrial and agriculture sectors of the country and also urged all the chancellors to play their active roles in promotion of higher education.
He said this while chairing the Chancellor’s Conference at the Aiwan-e-Sadr. Federal Minister for Education & Professional Training Shafqat Mahmood, Governor of Punjab/Chancellor of Universities in Punjab Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar, Governor of Sindh /Chancellor of Universities in Sindh Imran Ismail, Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa/Chancellor of Universities in Khyber Pakhtunkwa Shah Farman, Governor of Balochistan/Chancellor of Universities in Balochistan Justice (R) Amanullah Khan Yasinzai and President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK)/ Chancellor of Universities of AJK Sardar Masood Khan attended the Conference.
