President approves appointment, extension of LHC, SHC Additional Judges

ISLAMABAD, Oct 28 (APP): President Mamnoon Hussain on
Wednesday approved confirmation and extension of 12 Additional
Judges of Lahore High Court and appointment of nine Additional
Judges of Sindh High Court.
The President gave the approval on the advice of the Prime
Minister on the summary sent to his office by the Senate.
The Batch-I of the Additional Judges of Lahore High Court who
have been given confirmation/extension include Justice Arshad
Mahmood Tabassum, Justice Muhammad Tariq Abbasi, Justice Ch.
Muhammad Masood Jahangir and Justice Sadaqat Ali Khan.
The Batch-II of eigth Additional Judges of Lahore High Court
who have been given extension for one year include
Justice Khalid Mehmood Malik, Justice Ch. Mushtaq Ahmad, Justice
Masud Abid Naqvi and Justice Ch. Muhammad Iqbal.
Those who have been confirmed as Addtiional Judges at Lahore
High Court include Justice Ali Akbar Qureshi, Justice Qazi Muhammad
Amin Ahmed, Justice Shahid Karim and Justice Mirza Viqas Rauf.
The Additional Judges of Sindh High Court who have been
appointed for a period of one year include Ghulam Qadir Leghari
(DSJ), Abdul Ghani Soomro (DSJ), Muhammad Iqbal Maher, Khadim
Hussain M. Shaikh, Zulfiqar Ahmad Khan, Mahmood A. Khan, Muhammad
Karim Khan Agha, Anwar Hussain and Muhammad Faisal Kamal Alam.
