President appoints Kaiser Bengali, Yawar Irfan as private members of BISP board

ISLAMABAD, June 20 (APP): President Dr Arif Alvi on Monday approved the appointment of economist Dr. Kaiser Bengali and former President Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industries Muhammad Yawar Irfan Khan as private members of the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP board.

These posts had become vacant after the resignations of Syed Saleem Raza and Zafar A. Khan

The president also approved a three-month extension in the present charge of Dr. Ghulam Muhammad as Chairman Pakistan Agricultural Research Council.

Also, the president accepted the resignation of Assistant Attorney General Lahore, Malik Khalid Shafiq.

Malik Khalid Shafiq was appointed as Assistant Attorney General Lahore on June 17, 2021.
