President Alvi pays surprise visit to Ehsas Panahgah Korangi

KARACHI, Jun 18 (APP): President Dr Arif Alvi Friday paid a surprise visit to Ehsas Panahgah (Shelter Home) Korangi and inspected lodging and food facilities being provided there to needy people.

The Shelter Home is a joint initiative of Ehsas program and Pakistan Bait-ul Mal where lodging facilities are available for around 100 people while over 300 people are served food twice a day.

The president inquired about the registration process of beneficiaries and inspected lodging rooms, living and dining areas and other facilities available there for needy people.

On the occasion Dr Arif Alvi mixed up with the people present there, inquired about the facilities they were getting and had dinner along with them.

The food for the Panahgah is being sponsored by a charitable organization “Allah Waly”.
Managing Director Pakistan Bail ul Mal Malik Zaheer Abbas Khokhar and other officials of PMB and Ehsas program were also present on the occasion.
