ISLAMABAD, Oct 13 (APP): The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Media Strategic Committee on Monday discussed the national and provincial political situation, organizational matters, and the overall performance of the Information Department.
Secretary General Muhammad Humayun Khan chaired the meeting, during which members of the committee presented their reports to him.
The meeting was attended by Provincial President Syed Muhammad Ali Shah Bacha, Provincial Secretary Information Amjad Khan Afridi, Deputy Secretary Information Gohar Inqalabi, Tahir Abbas, Member Provincial Assembly Mehar Sultana, and Digital Media Head Asifullah Khan, among others.
The participants reviewed strategies to further organize, strengthen, and activate the Information Department across the province. It was decided to revitalize the department at the divisional, district, tehsil, and constituency levels to ensure the party’s message effectively reaches the public.
Secretary General Muhammad Humayun Khan emphasized that conveying the PPP’s ideological struggle and message of public service to every household is the foremost duty of party workers.
He stressed the importance of utilizing modern communication tools and social media platforms to project the party’s stance in a positive, organized, and impactful manner.
The meeting also resolved to convene a session of divisional and district presidents, general secretaries, and information secretaries soon, in order to align the provincial media network with modern communication needs.
Members of the Media Strategic Committee reaffirmed their commitment to fully implement the media policy in accordance with the vision of the party leadership and to strengthen public engagement across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
