Post-hajj flights operation to complete on Wednesday

ISLAMABAD, Oct 26 (APP): A month long post-Hajj flights
operation, which started on September 26 to bring back Pakistani
Hujjaj from Saudi Arabia, will complete on Wednesday.
This year, as many as 1,43,668 Hujjaj had went to perform the
religious obligation under the government and private schemes.
“The successful and timely completion of pre and post-Hajj
flights operations will be a big achievement of the ministry,”
official sources in the Ministry of Religious Affairs told APP.
They said Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), Saudi
Airlines and Shaheen Airlines are participating in the post-Hajj
flight operations and bringing back the pilgrims from Saudi Arabia
to different cities of Pakistan.
Expressing satisfaction over the smooth conduct of pre-Hajj
flight operation, they said the flight operation would be completed
within the prescribed time.
This year, they said, the Ministry had deployed the Hajj
Medical mission consisting of 450 staff of paramedics and doctors to
extend maximum health-care to Pakistani pilgrims. The medical teams
had provided treatment to around 1,77,733 pilgrims, they added.
