PESHAWAR, May 27 (APP):KP Chief Minister Mahmood Khan has vowed to bring positive change and unique reforms in the system in upcoming budget that would not only usher maximum increase in the receipts of the province rather would also guarantee service delivery to the people in real sense.
In a statement issued here from Chief Minister’s Secretariat on Monday the chief minister clarified, people had elected them with two-third majority and they will not disappoint them in any circumstances. The effective and result-oriented reforms will not only bring improvement in the economy of the province rather will also bring stability in the national economy.
He said there was dire need of reforms in the century old system of the province.
About mineral reserves of the province, the chief minister said that due to ineffective planning and inactive strategy, the mineral department is also playing dormant role in the economic development that is not acceptable in any circumstances.
Similarly, he said that a revolution in the national economy could also be ushered through introduction of result-oriented reforms in tourism and other sectors of the province.
However, he said that the goal could be achieved through taking practical steps and resolve of all stakeholders, departments and political leaders.
The chief minister said that after the upcoming budget the provincial will concentrate on effective financial management and reforms and departments would be made bound to introduce reforms within the specified time frame.
The chief minister said that all proposals of the finance department and other departments would be implemented to bring improvement in the economy and enhancement in the receipts of the province. He said that planning in this regard has already been completed.
The stressing need for reforms for filling of vacant vacancies in all departments, the chief minister clarified dire need for bringing reforms and change in the centuries’ old system.
Regarding the ongoing clean and green campaign in the province, the chief minister said that the drive is in full swing in all districts of the province and directed the administration of all districts to succeed it.
He said that the environment of the province would be made people-friendly through the completion of the campaign that would also help prevent diseases. He added that bringing reforms in the old system and change in environment, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa would be turned into a model.
