PN Command, Staff Conference reviews operational readiness, development plans, prevailing maritime environment

ISLAMABAD, Dec 9 (APP): Pakistan Navy’s Command and Staff Conference concluded here at Naval Headquarters reviewed operational preparedness and developmental plans of Pakistan Navy.
Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral Muhammad Zakaullah was given detailed briefings on various ongoing and future Pakistan Navy projects and plans.

While taking stock of the prevalent security environment, Chief of the Naval Staff urged that the challenges at hand necessitate eternal vigilance to safeguard against external and
internal threats.

He lauded the efforts put in by all echelons of Pakistan Navy in successful conduct of the exercise. Besides assessing the war preparedness of Pakistan Navy, the exercise also afforded valuable opportunity to hone fighting skills of Pakistan Navy including joint operations with PAF and Pak Army Air Defence elements to meet envisaged maritime security challenges.

Command and Staff Conference is the apex decision making body of Pakistan Navy in which all Principal Staff Officers and Field Commanders undertake strategic review of Pakistan Navy’s Policies and Plans at least once in each quarter.
