PMYP Chairman inaugurates BUITEMS Office, highlights technology as pillar of national progress

QUETTA, Nov 04 (APP): Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Development Program, Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan, inaugurated a new regional office of the program at the Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering and Management Sciences (BUITEMS) on Tuesday. The initiative marks a significant step in expanding youth-focused development efforts across Balochistan.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Rana Mashhood praised the youth initiatives launched under Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, noting their tangible impact on education, skills development, and employment readiness.
“The Prime Minister’s vision to equip youth with modern skills and education is already delivering excellent results,” Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan said.
He emphasized that aligning young people with the demands of the digital era is key to unlocking their potential and driving national progress.
The Chairman also reflected on country’s recent achievements, particularly in the defense sector.
He credited Pakistan’s edge in technology and innovation as a decisive factor in its strategic strength.
Rana Mashhood highlighted the bravery of the Pakistani Armed Forces and the importance of national unity, stating that the country’s collective resolve has earned global recognition.
 Rana Mashhood urged citizens to maintain this unity to counter future threats and safeguard national interests.
The event also featured remarks from Raheel Javed, CEO of Mountain View IT Park, along with Zahid Mandokhail and Khurram Shahzad, who commended the Prime Minister’s Youth Development Program for its role in empowering youth and fostering innovation.
