PM's Saudi visit to boost national economy: Spokesperson on Economy

ISLAMABAD, Oct 24 (APP):Participation of Prime Minister Imran Khan in international conference would highlight the soft image of Pakistan at international level besides strengthening the national economy.
Government spokesperson on economy, energy matters Dr Farrukh Saleem said this while talking to a private news channel. He said that the Saudi package in billions is a big achievement of incumbent government and would improve the living standard of common people. He said the conference has given a message to the international community that today Pakistan has controlled menace of terrorism successfully and opened the way of investment.
Replying to a question about corruption, he said the government does not allow exemption to its own members if they found guilty in any case aiming to make a corruption free Pakistan. He was of the view that Prime Minister Imran Khan highlighted the potential of Pakistan’s youth on international level besides identified lucrative investment opportunities in tourism, minerals coal and gas exploration and Information Technology sectors.
While criticizing former government, he said PML-N government left the national economy worsen adding that the present government is taking effective steps to boost it and coming six months are also very important in this regard.
