ISLAMABAD, Apr 2 (APP):Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain Tuesday said the decisions taken by Prime Minister Imran Khan in party affairs were always considered final and followed by each and every member of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

Difference of opinion prevailed among members of all political parties as it was beauty of the democratic system, he said while talking to a private news channel.

The minister said PTI leader Jahangir Khan Tareen was a renowned agriculturalist of the country and the party took benefit of his expertise. He attended the cabinet meeting for only once and if required he would again be invited for advice, he added.

It was Jahangir Tareen, who had played a vital role in making of PTI government after the general election 2018, he added.

Fawad said law and order situation in the country, especially in Punjab, was much better than the past.

Replying to a question, he said inflation had increased due to fluctuation in rupee-dollar parity. The last Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz government was responsible for the fragile condition of national economy as its finance minister Ishaq Dar had injected the greenback in the market to artificially control its price, he added.

He said both the Pakistan Peoples Party and the PML-N, which remained in the government during the last decade, had burdened the country with massive loans.

Referring to the Multan by-election, he said the PTI man had defeated the joint candidate of opposition political parties, which showed the people’s confidence in the government.
