RAWALPINDI, July 21 (APP): Pakistan Muslim League (N) won Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly seat LA 35, Jammu 6 here on Thursday.
According to unofficial result, PML(N) candidate Raja
Siddique defeated PTI candidate Chaudary Hameed Pothi.
The major candidates in LA 35 were Raja Siddique of PML (N), Chaudary Fakhar Zaman of PPP and Hameed Khan of PTI, while seven Independent candidates also contested the seat.
The constituency comprises Rawalpindi, Attock Chakwal and Jhelum districts.
Meanwhile talking to APP President PML (N) Local Chapter Sardar Nasim said that PML(N) candidate Asad Aleem Shah defeated PPP candidate Azhar Gillani in LA 39 Valley 4, Muhammad Ahmed Qadri of PML(N) defeated PPP candidate and former Minister Abdul Salam Butt in LA 40 Valley 5, and Raja Siddique of PML (N) defeated PTI candidate Hameed Pothi in LA 35 Jammu.
