PML-N’s Muhammad Yousaf wins PP-229 election

ISLAMABAD, Jul 27 (APP):Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) candidate Muhammad Yousaf has won election from Punjab Assembly constituency PP-229 Vehari-I by securing 40,421 votes.
According to unofficial results announced by the Election Commission of Pakistan, PTI candidate Humayoun Iftikhar Chishti stood second by getting 26,309 votes. The third position was grabbed by independent candidate Usman Ahmed Warraich with 19,055 votes.
Voter turnout was recorded at 57.67%.
